Bring your own handwriting font

Import an existing font file and make sure it has the characters your page needs.

Start with a font file

The studio can load a font you already have in TTF, OTF, WOFF or WOFF2 format. This applies the font to your page locally in the browser. It does not train or generate a new font from a handwriting photograph.

Check character coverage

Some handwriting fonts contain only Latin letters. Others include Chinese characters or additional scripts. Type a short sample with the language, punctuation, numbers and special symbols you intend to use before committing to a full page.

If some characters look noticeably different, they may be falling back to another font on your device. Choose a font with wider coverage for a more consistent page.

Confirm the license

Having a font file does not automatically grant permission for every use. Check the license if you plan to sell a design, distribute images commercially or share the font itself. Keep a copy of the license alongside the original file.

Keep the original file handy

If you move to another device or reopen the studio after clearing browser data, you may need to import the font again. Save an exported image of any finished page and keep your font file backed up separately.
